Dakota has great enter feeling, enjoy a few of his personal thoughts.
The excitement and pure enjoyment of hunting is so intense that it seems to be in my DNA. Hunting for my family brings us all together in the act of something we all love to do. Not only the hunt itself but the other experiences and emotions you receive sitting around a campfire telling stories, talking on a hillside while glassing for deer, or even packing out a bull elk in the middle of the night with just you and your mom. Experiences gained from hunting are some of the strongest and longest lasting memories anybody can have.
The conservation and preservation of our hunting heritage is the most important concept for today’s outdoorsman to take part in. Without these two things our hunting ways would begin to fade away and all of our survival needs would be reliant upon man made foods and farm grown animals. I am an avid participant in the conservation and preservation of our heritage. Whenever I have the chance to get somebody new into hunting I spring at the opportunity. Even if the hunt may not be successful just opening their eyes to the natural beauty of the outdoors and its wildlife are worth it to me. I took part in the Huachuca Gould’s Turkey Survey a few years ago which helped in the conservation of the Gould’s turkey population. This experience helped enhance my knowledge of the outdoors and taught me about a species I had been naïve to.
