Huachuca Gould’s Celebrates Annual Hunting Heritage Banquet For Year Number 26!
The Huachuca Gould’s Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation hosted its 26th Annual Hunting Heritage Banquet on August 2nd, 2025. A new place, The Old Door Shop at Stan Greer Millworks in Sierra Vista, Arizona, was the venue for the event.
The Hunting Heritage Banquet is a major fund-raising effort for the Chapter. Activities supported include JAKES Day, Family Get Outdoors, Turkey Hunters Care, Women-in-the-Outdoors, College Scholarships, Adopt-A-Highway, and habitat improvement projects.
This year, just over 150 attended, Several corporations and families reserved special seating with their generous financial support.
A variety of big and small items were offered in the Live and Silent Auctions, various games, and several raffles. Guns, knives, camping equipment, fishing tackle, wildlife prints, and hunting equipment and more went to the winners. The Commissioners’ State-wide Turkey Tag winner was announced as well.
After some socializing and browsing, Auctioneer Bruce Tingle gave the invocation before a tasty Mexican-themed dinner and desert.
Veterans, First Responders, and Front-line Workers were recognized with their own raffle.
Leann Alcala, Miss Pima County Teen, made a surprise appearance, too.
Many volunteers made the Banquet possible. Their efforts started several months earlier with fund raising and planning. Rob Bridges, Dave Kemnitz, Wayne Kaiser, Kim Gaudette, Dave and Marilynn Winiesdorffer, Toni and Chris Stoner, Jessica Vannoy, Joey and Tom Fuller, John Millican, Tori Kemnitz, Jaheim Vinne, and Tom Deecken represented the Huachuca Gould’s Chapter. Justin Watts (NWTF Regional Director), Karen Crain and Roy Crain (NWTF Arizona State Chapter President) assisted as well. King’s Armory provided FFL services.

It is that time of year again to get your tickets for the 26th Huachuca Gould’s Chapter Annual Fundraising Banquet on August 2, 2025. This year’s banquet will have a new venue: The Old Door Shop located at Stan Greer Millworks, 5930 AZ-92, south of Sierra Vista.
Attendance will be capped at 150. It is anticipated that banquet ticket sales will be closed prior to the Banquet. If you are interested in attending, please secure your tickets early at the link below. Once seating has been filled, registration and ticket sales will be closed.
Ticket pricing is $80 for singles, $40 for children 17 years old and younger. If you are unable to attend this years’ banquet, we would appreciate you purchasing a membership of $35 to continue your support of NWTF and the Huachuca Gould’s Chapter.
For larger groups’ we are offering a Reserved Table option which includes 10 seats/table which will be limited to only 8 tables. Cost is $1,000.00 which includes ten-1-year NWTF memberships and 1 chance per table at a $1,000.00 Kings Armory Gift Card (1 in 8 chances of winning). Reserved Table will be reserved for registered buyers for the first 8 tables purchased! The remaining 70 seats will be open for individual purchase, but table will not be reserved. We are sorry to say our 8 Corporate tables are now SOLD OUT!!!
The AZ State Chapter will be offering the 2025/26 Commissioners Turkey Tag Raffle allowing the winner to hunt Gould's or Merriam's Turkey in AZ from August 15, 2025 to August 14, 2026. Tickets are $20 each with the State winner drawn at our Banquet on August 2nd. Tickets will be available for purchase at the same time you register for banquet tickets. Funds are used for turkey conservation in Arizona.
A Huachuca Gould’s Chapter Donor option is available. Those that wish to donate a minimum of $200 in cash will be entered into a drawing to win $400. All purchasers of this package will be announced during the banquet.
