Dive into the Art of Fly Fishing from experienced Fly fishers
The Huachuca Gould’s Chapter and San Pedro Flycasters will be hosting a Women’s Fly-Fishing Class at the Babacomari Ranch near Elgin, AZ on October 11, 2025. This event is free and designed to empower and inspire women new to fly-fishing. Join us for a day of learning, connection, and adventure.

Time: 9:00 Am – 2:00PM
Instructors: Experienced Flyfishers from the San Pedro Flycasters
What to Expect:
Hands-On Instruction: Learn beginning fly fishing techniques in a welcoming environment. Private pond gives opportunity to fish to enhance your skill level! No Fishing License required.
Gear Provided: Don't have your own gear? No problem! Equipment will be provided, so you can focus on honing your skills.
Small Group Setting: To ensure personalized attention, class sizes will be limited to 15.

Lunch: A free lunch will be served by the Huachuca Gould’s Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation.
Who Should Attend: This class is perfect for those new to fly-fishing and want to try a new fishing experience.

Women’s Flyfishing event camp:
514 Babacomari Ranch Rd directions from Tucson Travel 20 miles south of Tucson on I-10; turn south on Highway 83 and travel 25 miles to the town of Sonoita intersection. From this point turn east on Highway 82 and travel approximately 5 miles to the Upper Elgin/Canelo paved road. Turn south and travel to the small town of Elgin. After crossing bridge turn left at T intersection, going south. Travel approximately .7 miles to the first left. The dirt road has a sign signifying the Babacomari Ranch road. Huachuca Gould’s Chapter signs will be located at intersection. Travel 1.90 miles on dirt road to intersection. Go left for approximately 3.21 miles to Babacomari Ranch headquarters.
