November 2011 after the fire
The Monument Fire of June 2012 created havoc on the hill of the Huachuca and the rains that followed during the monsoons only made it worse. The crew had to physically scoop sand, dirt, and muck for the natural spring.
After the Monument Fire the valve boxes needed replaced do to the extreme heat that melted anything that was exposed, 300 foot of pipe was also replaced.
